DIODE

Diodes are the most simple of semiconductor components, with the core purpose being to manage electrical current flow direction. Diodes allow current to flow through them in a single direction, and their most significant application is to convert AC to DC. Some typical applications of diodes include mixing and isolating signals, controlling the size of a signal, and rectifying a voltage. Diodes are essential in nearly all modern electronics.
