ZENER DIODE ANODE TO CASE (AK)

Zener diodes are a unique type of semiconductor diode that allows current to flow in the opposite direction, from cathode to anode (rather than just in a single direction from anode to cathode) when exposed to enough voltage. Zener diodes are notorious for maintaining a consistent reverse-voltage capability, and typically regulate voltage in circuits because they are so reliable. Zener diode anode is referring to the positive side of the circuit.
